Today i just finished reading this interesting book on how the world percieves Islam from Osama bin Laden to Sadam and even the energy shortage and i was just amazed at how the West academic experts, corporate and govermental policy makers and the media see"Islam" as representing everything from anti-Americanism to good business to an inferior culture, a dangerously enthusiastic religion ,and bad values.And now the intriguing part of the book is that islamic countries use islam to strengthen state structures or to rally masses thereby covering the diversity beneath the Islamic cover!. I couldn't agree more with author and his tactfulness in adressing the islamic phenomenon..i totally got enlightened
